The spirit of CSR is deeply rooted in the culture of RocSearch and every
employee voluntarily contributes a minimum of Rs. 100 from each month’s salary.
Apart from the regular monetary contribution, the employees take part in
regular fun activities that are regularly held and the proceeds of which go for

'Christies at RocSearch' – was a fun bidding event by the employees!
Employees had to bring stuff that was wacky, sellable and something that they

Foosball tournament- March 2008
To add a little fun to the festive mood in Holi, the CSR team organized a
foosball tournament. Every team had to pay an entry charge of Rs.100/- and
two-thirds of the collection went to Nai Disha.
The entire office took part in the tournament, contributing Rs 100 towards the

Smile stalls during Holi- March 2008

Saturday of Smiles: Film screening- February 2008

The CSR enthusiasts of RocSearch spent the better half of Saturday (9th of Feb)
in creating smiles on the faces of the young kids from Nai Disha. The RocSearch
team organized the screening of Sinbad, , the animation movie followed by
snacks from McDonalds for the kids and the accompanying teachers. The objective
of this activity was to create a blend of entertainment and education for the
young children and also give the RocSearch team an opportunity to interact with

Project Jupiter Academy- Ongoing

The money collected from the payroll contributions every month goes towards a
project RocSearch has adopted in Lucknow that is focused on educating young
minds and enabling them to earn not only a livelihood but also respect in
society.

National Blind School activities- January 2008
RocSearch started the New Year on a CSR note. The first activity of the Year
2008 was for the National association for the blind.
RocSearch employees volunteered towards creating "talk books" as well as
reading out books to students at the educational facility run by the National
Association of the Blind. "Talk books" are an integral part of educational

Nehru planetarium visit with Nai Disha students-

RocSearch planned a very informative visit to the Nehru Planetarium in Delhi.

Clothes donation- November 2007
In the winter of 2007 employees of RocSearch got together to give their
spare/unused clothing to the needy assuring a warm winter for many. In less
than a week, RocSearch managed to collect 7 big cartons full of clothes!!

Diwali Celebrations – November 2007
As along with the lights and the crackers, Diwali is also about the spirit of

of Diwali items from SMILE to enliven this spirit.

Nai Disha workshops- First step towards CSR
RocSearch employees have been actively volunteering to conduct interactive
workshops for the Nai Disha children. These workshops have included story
telling sessions, spray painting lessons as well as fun activities like ‘copy
cat’ and ‘pass the pillow’. After every workshop the CSR volunteers spend time
with the children and get to know them better.
